Overview

Like registering, creating a wallet is essential for using the service.Signing up and logging in is needed to properly use the service—likewise, creating and connecting a wallet is mandatory to use the DPI service properly.

The wallet stores a key used to prove ownership of crypto assets.Only when signed with this key and when it is valid can assets used in DeFi be handled properly.

Like how web services uses an ID to identify users, the Ethereum blockchain identifies users with account addresses.Creating a wallet is as simple as creating an account.

MetaMask (Web)

Metamask is the most commonly used wallet on most DeFi.

It has a web-exclusive wallet in the form of a Chrome Extension and also supports mobile wallets.

In order not to experience wallet connection problems when using DeFi, install and use Chrome’s MetaMask extension on your PC.

MetaMask (Mobile)

Although most DeFi recommends installing and using Chrome’s Metamask extension on a PC, most of the actual DeFi users are on mobile.

If you use DeFi on mobile, it is recommended that you install the MetaMask app and use the browser function.

Trust Wallet, imToken

Multi-wallet is required if multiple accounts need to be managed using classified mnemonics.Metamask supports multi-accounts but does not support multi-wallet.

Use Trust Wallet or the imToken app if you need to use a multi-wallet.You will run into problems more frequently if you use Trust Wallet or the imToken app when connecting a wallet or using the DApp browser instead of the MetaMask app.
